Election Procedures

A new Board of Directors shall be democratically elected by the Board of Directors at each annual meeting. Nominations of individuals to fill vacant positions will be accepted from any Lakeshore member or the Executive Committee (Article IX, paragraph 9). Nominations shall be made in writing and sent to the Board of Directors no later than one month prior to the Corporation's annual meeting. The Corporation's President shall administer and preside over all nominations and the election of all members of the Board of Directors and officers, and, the appointment of all person(s) authorized to act on behalf of the corporation. The President may delegate selection of volunteer positions to the Lakeshore Region Commissioner or others in the Corporation with the advice and consent of the Board of Directors, as appropriate.
